Changemakers for Children has 7 open communities of practice, which can have one or more groups each. To discover each community and join groups related to your interests, click on the "Communities" menu at the top.
How to join a community
Communities of interest
When you first registered your account, you selected your communities of interest. Our moderators approve new account registrations daily, and we add every new member directly to their communities of interest. You can see which groups you've joined by clicking on "my groups" on the menu at the top, or visiting your profile page and clicking "my groups".
Joining a community
To join a community, click on the "Communities" menu at the top and select the community you want to join.
Every community has its own landing page, providng a brief explanation the community of practice and featuring some of the key content.
Click the "Access the group" button or on the group's icon next to the description to access it. You will arrive at the group's "About" tab, which displays information about the group and how to engage in it.
Click "Join" to to join the group, then confirm your selection. Once you've done it, you will officially become a community member. Make a post to introduce yourself to others, and feel free to engage with the content shared in that space and create a topic.
