The Justice Based Approach: Foundation Course

Full details here!

The Justice Based Approach: Foundation Course builds on and fills the gaps in the human rights based approach and is relevant for every level, department, and area of work -- humanitarian, social justice, protection/inclusion, education, gender migration/detention, health, climate/environment, rights, etc.

JBA builds critical thinking and leadership while tackling themes that remain increasingly urgent like privilege and power, decolonization, gender, inclusion/diversity, climate breakdown, participation/localization, and more -- all while redefining programme management and innovation using design and systems thinking.

The course is aimed at those aspiring to be critical thinkers and leaders in their field and is particularly useful to those looking to level up professionally or those who have questioned their role in contributing to lasting impact through conventional approaches.

Part of the vibrancy of this gathering is that it brings together the major actors of the humanitarian and development sectors alongside social and environmental justice professionals and activists from around the globe. We had 60 countries represented in the 2021 cohort, and we're looking forward to another incredibly diverse group this year.
