Autism is a complex neurobehavioural condition that includes impairments in social interaction and developmental language and communication skills combined with rigid, repetitive behavious. Because of the range of symptoms, this condition is called autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Autism symptoms range from mild to severe. Children with mild autism are able to function as children without a disability but lack proper communication skills opposed to children who have severe autism and are unable to function inependently.
