Approaches to children's participation
How We Care | Learning Package
About this package of learning
Child participation involves children's right and freedom to express their views on matters and decisions that concern them. Crucially, those views must also be taken into account in order for participation efforts to be meaningful and effective. What's more, we know that successful participation both protects and empowers children.
In this How We Care series, we present the models of three Family for Every Child Members and the work they are doing to promote children's agency and participation in their respective regions: Butterflies in India; Legal Services for Children (LSC) in the USA; and JUCONI in Mexico.
Below each organisation's materials, you can click through to a post by them where you can ask questions, provide feedback and exchange directly about their practice.
